AMLA - Consultation on the draft RTS on cross-border information exchange between Financial Intelligence Units
AMLA has launched a consultation on the draft RTS on cross-border information exchange between Financial Intelligence Units.
The draft RTS establishes clear and harmonised criteria for identifying when a report of suspicions concerns another Member State, and for transmitting it accordingly between Financial Intelligence Units. It aims to make cross-border information exchange more consistent, efficient, and reliable, strengthening cooperation between FIUs and supporting smoother integration into existing systems such as FIU.net.
The consultation will run until 6 October 2026
