Reuters/Bloomberg - MiFID update would limit dark-pool trades
EU officials are pushing for a
cap on the amount of a company's stock that can be traded in dark pools. The
limit on any individual platform under the proposal would be 4% of the EU
market for that security. The change is part of an update to the Markets in
Financial Instruments Directive.
